MetroPCS Dallas Marathon is the City’s official marathon

Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings signed a proclamation designating this year’s race date for the MetroPCS Dallas Marathon – December 8, 2013 – as a citywide Dallas Marathon Day. In signing the proclamation, Dallas City Hall also recognizes the race as the official marathon of the City of Dallas.  Read more

Boston Marathon Statement

The MetroPCS Dallas Marathon sends our heartfelt condolences to all of those affected by the tragic incident at the 2013 Boston Marathon. We stand in support of our colleagues at the Boston Athletic Association and the brave first responders, volunteers and race staff. Safety is of utmost importance to the Dallas Marathon, and we will continue to work with city officials and the Dallas law enforcement on safety and security plans for our 2013 race.
