About the Corporate Relay Challenge
The concept is simple. Corporate relay teams, consisting of 5 persons each, participate in the full marathon relay (26.2 miles total). Winning relay teams in a variety of categories will share a purse of $30,000 in prize money, which will be given directly to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in the names of their respective corporations at a reception at the SMU Cox School of Business in early 2014. Hint: your team doesn’t have to run fast to win in a relay category!
Course
The course begins and ends in Downtown Dallas and highlights the best areas of the city. Along the way, runners pass through the West Dallas Loop, over the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, through the Dallas Design District, along majestic Turtle Creek, through prestigious Highland Park, around White Rock Lake, through beautiful Lakewood and down the Swiss Avenue historical district and back to the finish in Downtown.
